What You Need

1/4

cup KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing

onion, chopped

stalk celery, chopped

carrot, peeled, chopped

can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained

can (19 oz.) red kidney beans, rinsed

cans (14 oz. each) vegetable broth

cups water

tsp. Italian seasoning

cups small pasta shells, uncooked

1/2

cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Make It

HEAT dressing in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add onions, celery and carrots; cook 2 min. or until crisp-tender, stirring occasionally. Pour into slow cooker. Add tomatoes, beans, broth, water and seasoning; stir. Cover with lid.

COOK on LOW 6 hours (or on HIGH 3 hours).

STIR in macaroni; cook 10 to 15 min. or until macaroni is tender. Top with cheese just before serving.

Serve with crusty bread and a mixed green salad tossed with your favorite KRAFT Dressing.

Substitute

Prepare using canned white beans or chickpeas (garbanzo beans).

Special Extra

Cook 8 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon; drain, then coarsely crumble. Add to soup just before serving.

I added an extra can of kidney beans, basil, garlic, and chopped cooked chicken breast. It was great, the whole family liked it.

Not a bad soup but a bit bland, i added ground hot italian sausage (mild or sweet would work well also) to give it a bit of a kick

I make this soup every other week. My whole family loves it. I did spice it up with extra cans of butter beans and cantinelli beans. I also put in 1/4 cup of spinach at the end. I also use the tomatoes with basil and other seasoning. Fantastic!

My husband loved the taste of the soup. It was so easy to make. I made this soup many times last year and misplaced the recipe. I am so glad that I found it again. Thank you.

loved it! It was a little bland the first time around, but I guess the flavors set in overnight and it was incredible as leftovers the next day. Next time, I'll probably make it the day before and reheat it.

substituted kindey for cannelli beans, added zuchccini, and added extra itialian seasoning. was soooo good!
