Was more like pepper steak then Swiss steak. But a really good Pepper steak

this recipe was so-so, came out good but i dont think i would make it again or i would switch up the ingredients! it was more like a soup than "sauce".

Very good. I used to eat swiss steak all of the time at my grandmother's house. This recipe was just as good as hers and I love the swiss cheese added at the end.

This was a very tasty dish. I tossed in a couple of potatoes, peeled and halved, into the broth a few hours before it finished cooking. It was very good. It would also be great over cooked rice.

My 10 year old daughter keeps asking me to make this. I serve it with Mashed potatoes mixed with cream cheese, to give them an extra zing. So creamy, and with the steak, so delicious!

Very Good! We thicken the sauce up a bit with some flour and poured over rice, didn't even use cheese. Will make this again. YUM!

I live alone, and even so, I make this wonderful dish. It doesn't need the cheese so save the money and the calories. I've made this many times. The leftovers are as delicious as the first time!!
