Throw together the fixin's in the morning and enjoy a steak-and-peppers main simmering in a tomato-based sauce for dinner. Melty Swiss cheese is the clincher.

This was a crowd pleaser with my family & sister's family. So easy & YUMMY!! I made a double recipe for our two families. I served it with mashed potatoes & rice both. The children preferred it with rice but I loved it over the potatoes. My husband really liked this recipe! Yum!

It turned out pretty much like a roast with sauce. It was yummy!

Made this exactly as described in the recipe and it was just AWFUL. BLAND to say the very least. I would never make this again, even with adjustments.

I added onions to the crock pot and totally forgot the cheese, but it was still so good. I cut up the meat and served it all over rice.

Very simple to make. The meat and peppers are tender. Just the right mixture of seasonings. Great with a salad also, for a lighter dinner.

DELICIOUS!! I cooked it about 11 hrs. on low and the meat just fell apart it was so tender. The smaller pieces combined with the sauce made a nice thick tomato "gravy" that would be perfect over rice. I used tomatoes that were prepared for chili so the spices were just right...zippy but not burny. YUM!
