The equivalent of pouring tomato sauce on a good steak. The meat turned out great but everything else fell short. Would be better recipe for a stew.

This was OK. The meat came out great, but I found the sauce to have an odd flavor. Both my husband and I said "meh" to this one. Didn't love it, didn't hate it. I might make it again, but I would have to tweak it first.

OUTSTANDING! I omitted the green bell pepper, forgot the cheese and added several shakes of Whorshestershire Sauce, and a few more grinds of salt and pepper per the previous suggestions. I served it over mashed potatoes and green beans on the side. This will be a weekly dinner at our house!!

Very good. I'm not a fan of canned Tomatoes but was very surprised. I have a large Family so doubled up on everything. I used lg can, 28 oz petite diced tomatoes and one whole small can tomato paste. If you want for more saucier sauce, add more beef broth or water. And don't forget to add some Salt for taste. Next time I might cut up some cabbage and add that to it.

A very tasty dish. I've made this twice already in just 3 weeks! It's so easy.

Family favoritebat our house. I cook in a bean pot rather than a crock pot.

Very easy and good! I used A-1 sauce instead of the tomato paste to give it some zing. I also added onions. I would have liked the sauce to be thicker.
