What You Need

oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted

cups boiling water, divided

pkg. (3 oz. each) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin

1-1/2

cups cold water, divided

Ice cubes

cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

Decorations: assorted Valentine sprinkles and candies

Make It

DRAW heart design or write Valentine's Day message in each of 8 (6-oz.) clear plastic cups by piping chocolate onto insides of cups. Refrigerate until chocolate is firm.

ADD 1 cup boiling water to 1 pkg. gelatin mix in medium bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Stir in 1 cup cold water; pour into prepared cups. Refrigerate 1 hour or until gelatin is firm.

MEANWHILE, add remaining boiling water to remaining gelatin mix; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add enough ice to remaining cold water to measure 1 cup. Add to gelatin; stir until thickened. Stir in COOL WHIP; spoon over gelatin layer in cups. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm. Decorate as desired.

How to Melt Chocolate

Microwave chocolate in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min., stirring after 30 sec. (The chocolate will retain its shape.) Stir until chocolate is completely melted.

I made this for snack time for my son's pre-school class and they turned out great. I did not draw the hearts as the cups I found were not smooth. But I did top them with sliced strawberries and drizzled the chocolate on top. Turned out beautiful. To the point that I am going to have to make more for the teachers. While making the topping I found it worked much better if you used crushed ice rather than standard ice cubes. Also, whisking in the cool whip works much better and you get a smoother consistency.

I absolutely love this recipe! I piped the chocolate and WARNING: YOU WILL WASTE CHOCOLATE & CUPS PRACTICING. So just prepare for that and have a blast! Also, I did hearts & XO's but I also just moved the cup and piped the chocolate in any wich way inside the cup, still looks great! MUCH EASIER for the artistically challenged like myself. So cute looking, I can't wait to bring them to the Valentine's Day party tomorrow! Thanks Kraft! I want to do red jell-o & blue jell-o/cool-wip mixture with cool whip on top for 4th of July!

These turned out pretty cute, but they were a lot of work. The chocolate hard was REALLY hard for me to get right. I wasted about 10 cups practicing, and they still aren't perfect. Also, my second jello mixture didn't really "thicken" like it said it would, and once I added the cool whip- it got all chunky like. Luckily I was able to disguise this with heart sprinkles on top. I don't know if I'll make this again because it took so much time for something that seems super simple.

I made this and I thought it was really good. I didn't use the chocolate on the side of the cups. My daughter wants me to make this again to pack in her school lunch

this was a wonderful recipe. i make this for all types of holidays using different gelatin mix flavors.

It was very easy to make, I made it for a kids' party and they all wanted to know how I did the two colors. I made it with different colors (orange, lemon, lime..)

This is an easy, yummy recipe. I added fruit to the jello in the bottom. Delicious!!
