What You Need

oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted

cups boiling water, divided

pkg. (3 oz. each) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin

1-1/2

cups cold water, divided

Ice cubes

cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

Decorations: assorted Valentine sprinkles and candies

Make It

DRAW heart design or write Valentine's Day message in each of 8 (6-oz.) clear plastic cups by piping chocolate onto insides of cups. Refrigerate until chocolate is firm.

ADD 1 cup boiling water to 1 pkg. gelatin mix in medium bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Stir in 1 cup cold water; pour into prepared cups. Refrigerate 1 hour or until gelatin is firm.

MEANWHILE, add remaining boiling water to remaining gelatin mix; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add enough ice to remaining cold water to measure 1 cup. Add to gelatin; stir until thickened. Stir in COOL WHIP; spoon over gelatin layer in cups. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm. Decorate as desired.

How to Melt Chocolate

Microwave chocolate in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min., stirring after 30 sec. (The chocolate will retain its shape.) Stir until chocolate is completely melted.

I loved this except that mine looked like it had three layers because when I put the cool whip topping, it and the jello made an extra watery middle section. The jello was firm when I put it on so I'm not sure how to prevent this next time. It was still very good and soo cute. My kids loved the hearts on the cups, it was a great touch.

This was very good and fun to make, except my cool whip was watery. After 6 hours, it still had not thickened. Any suggestions?

These turned out SOOOO cute! My friends and I are dieting so I used Light Cool-whip and Sugar Free jello. Saved 1/2 of the calories and it tastes AMAZING! The chocolate hearts weren't perfect, so I may leave them off next time, but still SUPER cute!

Absolutely fabulous!!! Was difficult to draw the hearts. But I overwarmed the chocolate I think. Other than that- EEEEAASSYYY!!! YAMMY

This recipe was so easy and looks so yummy. The hearts where easy..Just melt the chocolate and pour into plastic baggie, nip the corner and make the hearts. I hope the kiddos enjoy this treat tomorrow.

Use a toothpick to draw on the chocolate heart....I doubled the recipe for the 17 kids in my son's class and I still needed 3 more packages of jello....so I think I either used too big of cups, or you need more jello!! I think they're very cute and yummy!!

kids loved them at the valentines day party, but alittle tricky to pipe the chocolate on the sides of the cup. Best way is to hold the cup upside down, and write backwards.

I made this for both my younger boys' classes for Valentines Day... now they want hem again for Easter!! It's not hard to do and you can use the "sugar-free" Jell-o too!!
