The taste was outstanding, if you like lemon. The crust was VERY hard. We ended up picking it up and eating it like a bar cookie.

I did't have any lemons so I substituted with a lemon pudding mix and some lime juice, still turned out delicious.

These squares were so delicious. You could not tell they were low in calories. I took them to work and they asked for the recipe too.

It was the perfect amount of lemon but wasn't the best lemon square I've ever made.

I didn't care for this dessert, it was way too sweet and the crust was hard to cut into.

I received rave comments after serving the lemon squares for a brunch. Everyone wanted the recipe. Instead of lining the pan with foil I lined it with parchment paper. The crust was a bit hard, cutting the baking time might help. I am making it again for my granddaughter's lst communion celebration.

I thought the recipe tasted good, but the crust was hard, and I followed the advice of other reviewers and only baked it for 5 minutes. The bars were hard to cut and stuck to the foil. The bars were messy looking, but might try again, and make the crust a little thicker.
