I made this using the pork ribs. Found it to be bland, should have seasoned the meat before adding the rest of the ingridents. Used low sodium soy sauce. The cooking time was a longer then then 8 hours.

I made this with rib tips, because the spare ribs were unavailable. Excellent with the rice and very flavorfull.

I, too, made it with boneless beef ribs. The only problem is that next time I'd better double the recipe. I fixed rice with it one time and pasta the next, can't decide which one I liked better.

This was excellent! I used beef ribs in place of the pork. My family's only complaint was that I didn't make enough!

The first time I made it I truly enjoyed it. The next time I made it I decided to add a little heat to it so I added red hot pepper flakes, that made it great too. My Dad likes it a little sweeter so a bit of brown sugar made it best for him. Great taste.
