Chicken-Parmesan Pasta Toss

What You Need

1/2

lb. fettuccine, uncooked

Tbsp. oil

lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips

Tbsp. tomato paste

1/4

tsp. garlic powder

can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained

1/2

cup water

1/4

cup KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing

1/4

cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Make It

COOK pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.

MEANWHILE, heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add chicken; cook and stir 8 min. or until done. Stir in tomato paste and garlic powder; cook and stir on medium-high heat 1 min. Add tomatoes, water and dressing; cook 2 min., stirring occasionally.

DRAIN pasta; place in large bowl. Add sauce; toss to coat. Sprinkle with cheese.

Variation

Omit garlic powder. Prepare recipe as directed, adding 2 minced garlic cloves to hot oil in skillet along with the chicken, and substituting KRAFT Sun Dried Tomato Vinaigrette Dressing for the Italian dressing.

Substitute

Prepare using spaghetti or any other pasta.

This recipe is a winner. I had unexpected company show up around dinner time, I had nothing prepared for them for dinner,in a panic I remembered going through my E-mails and seeing this recipe. Oh so easy,and oh so great tasting,everyone raved over it and thought it had taken me hours to make. Thank you, again you saved me. Shonnie
