I exchanged the sugar for Splenda and made it a low-carb dessert. It was utterly delicious!

I made this with slight modifications for calorie sake- I substituted two packs of the Neufchatel Cheese and used Light Sour Cream. It was AMAZINGLY good!!

I have made this for many years and it never disapoints. A fruit topping or none, traditional cake or in a pie pan with a ready made crust, it doesn't matter. This recipe is a keeper. Even for novice bakers.

I've made lots of different types of cheesecakes, this has to be the richest/creamiest version! Absolutely love it and my children did too! We topped w/ lite cherry topping (also made it w/ lite cream cheese).
