What You Need

NILLA Wafers, finely crushed (about 1 cup)

1/4

cup butter, melted

oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, divided

1/2

cup PLANTERS Creamy Peanut Butter

bananas, cut lengthwise in half, then crosswise into quarters

pkg. (3.4 oz. each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding

cups cold milk

cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, divided

Tbsp. PLANTERS Salted Peanuts, coarsely chopped

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF.

MIX wafer crumbs and butter until well blended; press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate. Bake 5 to 8 min. or until golden brown. Cool completely. Meanwhile, make chocolate curls from 1/2 oz. chocolate. Refrigerate.

MICROWAVE remaining 1-1/2 oz. chocolate and peanut butter in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min.; stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Place bananas in crust; drizzle with melted chocolate.

BEAT pudding mixes and milk in large bowl with whisk 2 min. Stir in 1 cup COOL WHIP. Spread over bananas; top with remaining COOL WHIP.

REFRIGERATE 3 hours. Top with chocolate curls and nuts just before serving.

How to Make Chocolate Curls

Warm BAKER'S Chocolate slightly by heating it, unwrapped, in the microwave for a few seconds until you can just smudge the chocolate with your thumb. Hold the chocolate steadily between thumb and fingers of one hand and draw a peeler slowly over flat bottom of chocolate. Allow a thin layer of chocolate to curl as it is peeled off the bottom. This will make long, delicate curls. Make short curls using the same technique on the narrow sides of the square. To arrange curls on a dessert, use a toothpick to lift them into place.

This has all of my husband's favorite things. To make it more chocolate-y, I used a chocolate crust and chocolate pudding. We both thought it was good, but it definitely wasn't the hit I thought it would be.

I wish I could give this recipe more stars. In the 2 years since I have found it, it has been requested for at least 10 birthdays, 2 graduations and 3 showers. Everyone adores this pie, and it is sooo easy to make.

I made this for my mother-in-laws birthday dinner. Everyone enjoyed it so much they had another piece. It was very easy to make and so good to eat. It won my husband and my mother-in-law over.

I have not tried this pie yet. However, my husband took it to a bake sale his work held and not only did people ask him for the recipe but they told him I was an amazing baker. And commented on how professional the chocolate curls looked. This pie requires no work. Everything is so easy.

This pie was AMAZING! ive made it several times already. i have made with chocolate pudding, french vanilla, and regular. my favorite is chocolate, and SOOOO many people have RAVED about this recipe. even some very PICKY people. it is sooo good. i ate almost an entire pie in two days! i couldnt help myself. lol. my husband didnt get to it fast enough, haha. i make this for all the family events. it is very requested!

This recipe is awesome! I've made this several times and I always get rave reviews. It's a great desert to take to a get together as it's always a hit. You have to make this pie!

I made this twice. Once with vanilla pudding mix and the other with chocolate. The chocolate was much better. I also mixed a small amount of peanut butter into the pudding. Very yummy. I rated this with 5 stars only if it is made with the chocolate pudding with peanut butter added.
