What You Need

pkg. (15.5 oz.) OREO Cookies, divided

1/4

cup butter, melted

pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

3/4

cup sugar

tsp. vanilla

tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed

Make It

CHOP 15 cookies coarsely. Finely crush remaining cookies; mix with butter. Press onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan. Refrigerate while preparing filling.

BEAT cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Gently stir in COOL WHIP and chopped cookies; spread onto crust.

REFRIGERATE 4 hours or until firm.

How to Easily Remove Cheesecake from Pan to Serve

Line pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides before using to prepare cheesecake as directed. Use foil handles to lift chilled cheesecake from pan before cutting to serve.

This is definitely a 2 thumbs up! Delicious result... will surely satisfy any cheesecake craving. & sooo easy to make... the recipe is a cinch to follow. 1 BIG reminder though... NEVER make the mistake of sweetening it with just Splenda... it gives a salty result. Use some sugar & just replace a big fraction of it with Splenda for a better & more delicious result.

Used the already made Oreo pie crust from the grocery store. This cheesecake was the hit of the party, it was easy to make & it was delicious.

made it yesterday, my aunts felt its too rich but to me, its ok... jus that after awhile out from the fridge, it texture became moose-like... was it meant to be like this?

I made this for a super bowl party. It had too strong of a cream cheese taste for me and they are very rich.

I made this recipe, for the first time, yesterday to bring to a small party. Everyone that tried it loved it! These cheesecake bars are sooooo good. Just love them!

This is a yummy recipe. It does have a strong cream cheese taste & consistency. Too much for me. Next time I will use less cream cheese & probably a little more cool whip. Coarsely chopping the oreos was pretty easy but chopping & then blending for the crust took more time than I have. Next time I'll just buy the oreo pie crust for a shortcut. Also the filling recipe makes so much that it would probably make 2 pies.
