Very yummy cake!! I made this for a family dinner last night and it was excellent, it tasted a lot like strawberry shortcake. The icing went very well with the cake. Made exactly as is. My husband requested this cake again!!

I made this for valentine's day and it was so good I am making it for our Easter dinner. Very light tasting not heavy.

Delicious, easy, & beautiful. I brought this to a recipe exchange & was told that it looked like it belonged on the cover of Better Homes & Gardens!

I have made this recipe twice and both times received wonderful comments on the cake! My 5 year old niece has already requested it for her birthday next month!

I made this cake last year for EASTER dinner/dessert ! It was super easy and very pretty.. It got OOOHH's and AHHH's it was almost too pretty to eat ! I'm a novice cake baker and I found that the frosting was light and easy to spread and it didn't have to be PERFECT. This cake is a keeper !

I've made this cake a few times. It's extremely moist and has tons of flavor, I get asked to make it all the time. This past Valentine's Day I bought 2 heart-shaped foil pans, and just made two single layer cakes. Very pretty and very easy.

Made this cake for my boyfriends b-day. He took it over to his parents house for his b-day dinner with the family. This recipe got rave reviews from his whole family. I was a little nervous because I had too much jello batter. From previous reviews I feared that it would be soggy and too strongly flavored. So, I made sure to leave it in for the full amount of time. It still came out perfect! The frosting was a hit too! A change from the basic whipped cream frosting. Boyfriend said it was my best cake yet!
