DELICIOUS!!! definintly will be having this again!
My fiance loves this recipe. He is always requesting this meal
Quick and easy with great taste. Instead of the kidney beans I used black beans and it turned out great. I also put it in the oven for a little to crisp up the tortillas
My husband, son & I loved this! I did add a can of Green Giant Mexicorn. The only other change I made was I cut the tortillas into 1/2 inch pieces instead of 1&1/2 inches. These were both suggestions of other reviewers. I will definitely make it again!
My husband and I both found this to be tasty and satisfying..I added some sliced ripe olives to the mixture and used some spicy grated cheese also. We will definetly have this again.
It was very tasty, I doubled the tortillas because I knew that would be my kids' favorite part.
Very tasty and easy! Even my picky DS liked this one, maybe because I let him pick it out! Might try serving it with tortilla chips next time.
I've made this a couple times since I had leftover taco meat from the 7-layer dip (that's another review). I used thick chili instead of beans, and left out the sour cream and onion. I add roasted green chilies for some more spice. The first time I made this, I had leftover scoop corn chips, so put them on the bottom and spooned out the mix. The leftovers are really good, which is very important to me since I'm really lazy when it comes to cooking!
So quick and easy to whip up with defrosted ground beef - hubby and daughter loved it! I used regular onion and cooked it with the salsa, also used less salsa because I didn't have enough on hand. Used slices of American cheese and some left-over tortillas (it was what I had) and still this was wonderful! Daughter asked for 2nds and 3rds and she wanted it in her lunch tomorrow! Will def make again and will add the black beans and corn, as others have suggested!
This was a hit with my family. I changed the recipe a bit. Instead of using kidney beans I used black beans; I also added a can of Mexican corn and a can of diced green chiles. I also substituted the ground beef for ground turkey and added chopped red onion while cooking the meat. I had the sourcream on the side as well as chopped tomatoes and sliced black olives. Next time I would omit the tortillas since they got soggy and we preferred eating it with tortilla chips. But overall this was excellent and very fast meal to make!
