This was really good, and only took like 5 minutes to make. The meal pretty much consists of ingredients that are generally kept on hand, making it inexpensive too!
This was very good especially because it was sooooo easy. I used a can of chili beans with sauce instead of kidney beans. Also served it with fresh tomatoes and lettuce on top - YUM!
Very easy. Served with rice on the side. Very filling and quick.
This recipe was great. My kids who are both picky eaters loved this and even asked me to make it again the next night. I did make a few changes: I used black beans instead of kidney beans because that is what I had on hand. I used corn tortillas instead of flour because I had corn tortillas. I would definately recommend this dish to anyone who loves mexican and is looking for a easy great meal your family would love.
This dish was easy and very good. The whole family loved it. Followed the recipe exactly. We added avocado, lettuce and fresh chopped cilantro to the top. Easy clean up too.
I added a can of Rotell to this and used crispy tortia chips instead of burritos. I poured this mixture over more crispy chips and made a nacho thing with it. It was wonderful! This would be great for a party as a dip also.
Not something I'd serve to adults, but a fun meal for the kids. A tad bland
Very good recipe. I can see where I'll make it many times and in different ways. I used a Santa Fe salsa that added some different "zing" and also a small can of corn. But definitely next time will use tortilla chips or bake my torts. because the torts. shells didn't do it for me. I want the CRUNCH!!
The best thing about this recipe is that it takes just one pan!
This makes a good, easy mid-week meal. We topped it with lettuce, more cheese, tomatoes, and green onion. Only thing I would probably change for next time would to use the tortillas as a topping.
