It was very good. My whole family enjoyed it and that says something!! Next time I will double the cheese and double the tomatoes. Very quick and easy to make. Perfect for a busy weeknight!!!

This is really good - husband loves it, 3 year old loves it. Even better with the Deluxe mac 'n cheese. I drain the tomatos - thought it was too liquidy w/ all the juice. I also put some of the cheese in the mixture, and less on top - makes it even cheesier!

I go back and forth. i like the idea of mac & cheese with tomatoes and beef. something is miss for flavor. i will try what another cook suggested: cayenne pepper.

This was by far the simplest, quickest and most tasty meal! I added one small onion and used diced tomatoes. It even reheated well and was even better the next day.

I added an onion for flavor. The first night we ate this I didn't think the recipe had much flavor, but the next night the leftovers were delicious. The flavors were more intense. I will add green peppers next time for more flavor.

I will admit that I substituted the suggested mac and cheese dinner for an organic alternative. I was impressed by the taste of this dish (given its simplicity) and moreover with how affordable it was to make. We served it with a salad. The total cost of the meal was under $12, and that's with organic lettuce and tomato. Plus, we had enough for five portions!

Pretty tasty. Definitely kid-friendly. My 2-year-old ate 2 servings. My husband liked it, too.
