PHILLY Shrimp Cocktail Dip

I have made a recipe similar to this using diced imitation crab, 8oz. block of cream cheese with sea food sauce poured over the top then added the diced crab. Served with crackers.

This recipe was fantastic and my friends loved it. I will make it again and soon.

It's great to make for a party.

A very nice/easy party dip. I added hot sauce to kick up the flavor of the horseradish cocktail sauce but I'm a spicy food fanatic. Was well liked by all.

Made this dip for a birthday party over the weekend and it was a hit. One small change the next time I make it would be to whip the cream cheese with a few tsp. of milk before spreading or use the whipped cream cheese to begin with. I did add a little horseradish to the cocktail sauce. Our crowd likes it spicier and it was perfect with mellowness of the cream cheese.

This is a great easy appetizer, my family prefers it without the parmesean & onions.
