I used Reduced Fat Nilla Wafers and lite Cool Whip to make it lower in calories. It was still great! I took it to a Super Bowl party(yes it is warm enough in California in February to eat sherbet!) and took home an empty dish. I will make it again and experiment with differnt sherbet flavors. YUM!

This recipe is so simple to make. I received a lot of compliments from my husband's family. Next time I make it, I'm going to subtitute the pudding and cool whip layer with a layer of vanilla ice cream.

So simple and delicious! I have made this numerous times because it's so easy and refreshing. I agree with urbabe47... if you want a more distinct orange flavor use less of the pudding layer!

I made this a second time for my husband's birthday (his request)and I made the pie again but I used about 3/4 of the pudding mixture and the amount of orange mixture that the original recipe called for and it turned out perfect. Alot more of the orange flavor that we love. My husband even said he thought it was a lot better this time around.

I made this dessert for 4th of July, I wanted something cold, good and lite. This was perfect and the guest loved it. I used lite cool whip to mix with pudding and sherbert. I also used non fat milk in the pudding. I let the pan sit on table for a minute to make cutting easier and using large/sharp knife, or run hot water over sharp knife and dry it to make cutting easier, and then put back in freezer til serving time.

This was okay, but I don't make dessert very often so when I do I want it to be REALLY good and this wasn't.

I made this dessert for the first time. It was a big hit. I had a bit of trouble removing the foil before cutting the dessert into squares. In the end, it didn't matter because there wasn't any left! I'll definitely be making this again, but I think I'm going to try freezing it without the foil.
