This dessert was very good. It was hard to slice frozen so had to let it set out for quite a while. Other than that, it tasted very good.

Our family just had this recipe for dessert after our July 4th supper. Everyone enjoyed it! My daughter said it was very light and refreshing after a meal of hamburgs, steak, potato salad and cole slaw. Of course we waited an hour and a half before we ate dessert, and then everyone had seconds. If you like creamsickles, you'll love this dessert.

I fixed this for a family event. Everyone took a bite and refused to eat anymore except for scraping to topping off. I removed this from my recipe file.

Its excellent if you eat some right after you make it. Not as great after its frozen.

I made two, I used Lime sherbet for one and Raspberry sherbet for the other and there were no leftovers. A great ending for a family Bar B Que!

A great crowd pleasing dessert! And it keeps well in the freezer up to a week, so it can be made ahead of time.
