I loved the flavors in this. I made this according to the recipe, only I sliced the basil very finely and tucked it under the top slice of tomato. It was delicious! I will definitely make this again.

I've made this recipe several times and it continues to get smiles! I usually leave out the onion and it still tastes delicious!

Absolutely fabulous! This will definately be made many more times in our household. My husband turned his nose at the recipe and photo from the magazine...but when it was served on his plate, he came back for seconds. My first time making this Salad Stacker - there were no leftovers! We used it with a grilled chicken recipe as the only "side" and the flavors were perfect. I highly recommend this recipe as is and the variations seem endless.

This is very easy to make and looks impressive. We thought it was great! Next time, I will add some chopped fresh basil in addition to the basil on the top.

I give this a superb rating just for simplicity reasons. Cannot wait until our garden tomatoes are ready, it will be even better! I think next time I will leave off the cucumber, the only thing not needed. Perhaps I will replace with a lettuce leaf to keep the green color in. I think it would be good to put another basil leaf on top of the cheese, to give it more flavor as well. I love Zesty Italian dressing and was perfect with this recipe. I may also try the SunDried Tomato Viniagrette next time as well. Change it up as you like, but it is excellent and best of all- presentation is great- which is key in the recipes I make!

This was a really fun recipe to make with my daughter. She makes fun of me because I insist on having fresh basil in my garden. She doesn't make fun of me anymore! We made extra and both of us took another "stack" to work the next day!

I suggest using the Good Seasons Italian packet to create your own dressing. Every element of this stacker works well together. Try it and then change it...if you think it needs it!! Enjoy!
