These were great, I had fixed 2 xtra that my husband & I could not eat so i wrapped them in foil & put in frig. Next night I heated in microwave & they were still juicy....amazing & filling.
This recipe has to go on vacation with us
So disappointed with this recipe. Followed it exactly and added bread crumbs but they completely fell apart on the grill. My husband just went out to get burgers since I have all the sides made. Will not make these again!
We loved this recipe, but I reduced the amount of taco seasoning mix by half and it was perfect. The patties held together very well, but that was because I froze the 12 individual patties for 40 minutes before assembling (with slightly wet hands, which made it a lot easier). I used fresh spinach leaves instead of lettuce -- delicious! Make the patties large and thin; they will draw up.
This was a great hit in my house. The first time I made them I had a hard time keeping the burgers together. I decided to make them again, but I added some bread crumbs to help hold the meat together and it worked!
Wonderful! So juicy! I use colby jack cheese slices instead of the shredded chesse - less messy that way plus those who want some cheese on the top and in the middle can make it into a cheeseburger. I've never had a problem with the two burger patties falling apart. I have a little patty press and I press the two sides together in that. I also don't use as much salsa in the middle. We have made these multiple times this summer and have enjoyed them every time!
This was okay. It was good the first night but after that I just got tired of it. I think it had too much of the taco seasoning in it. It kinda overpowered the burger and I didn't even put the whole package in there. I also had a VERY hard time keeping the burgers together. There were a couple that weren't even salvageable.
Lots of flavor. Husband and kids really liked them.
These were very good! I used about a Tbsp of the mayo and put the sealed patties in the freezer for about 15-20 minutes before grilling. I didn't have a problem with them falling. We used pepperjack cheese which added a kick.
Stop what your doing, go buy the ingredients for this recipe and make this for dinner tonight!!!! AWESOME!!!
