What You Need

lb. lean ground beef

pkg. (1-1/4 oz.) TACO BELL® Taco Seasoning Mix

cups water

pkg. (7-1/4 oz.) KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Dinner

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

large tomato, chopped

cup shredded lettuce

cup tortilla chips, coarsely crushed

Make It

BROWN meat in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat; drain. Add seasoning mix, water and Macaroni; mix well. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 7 min. or until macaroni is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.

ADD sour cream and Cheese Sauce Mix; mix well.

TOP with remaining ingredients.

The recipe was okay, but if I did make it again, I would probably leave out the mustard. I love mustard, but in this recipe it seemed to overpower the other flavors.

My family loved this recipe. It was such a hit that my husband has asked me to make this several more times. One change to this recipe that has made it better for our family is not adding the lettuce, tomatoes and chips to the pasta mix. It made it more convenient to refrigerate the left over pasta. No soggy lettuce!

Very good, however I recommend using less of the seasoning (was very salty). I also didn't have sour cream on hand so i used a splash of skim milk instead- it was great!

I was desperate for a quick dinner one night and found this recipe and had all ingredients in house. The whole family loves it! It has become a quick family favorite (I brown ground meet ahead of time and put in freezer) makes for a very quick and easy dinner.
