This bean dish is now my husband's favorite type of beans. Our stores do not carry the Bulls Eye barbecue sauces, so I used 1/2 of my favorite barbecue sauce and 1/2 Guiness beer, and it worked out slick. I also made mine in a crock pot earlier in the day and let it stew on low. Nummy!

These beans are always a hit at picnics. The only problem is my grocery store doesn't carry the Guiness bbq sauce anymore.

GREAT! Excellent for a crowd event. I added 1/2 lb of browned hamburger and some crisp cooked crumbled bacon!

Loved this recipe! Quick and easy! Great for picnics! I used smoked bacon which gave them an extra smokey flavor which was amazing! Huge hit!

I made these beans a few times over the summer and they were a hit every time. I even added black beans to the recipe and it was delicious.
