This is a great recipe to take to luncheons or pot lucks. I use real bacon and shredded cheddar and love that it can be prepared the day before!

This is an easy and pretty salad. We have this for several of our get togethers through out the year.

quick, easy, attractive, with meat included it becomes a full meal...I substitute leafy lettuce for the iceberg, making it much more nutritious. using read leafy lettuce also is great, giving it beautiful color. Even the kids will eat it.[after I remove the onions, which Dad eats.

I took this to a potluck dinner, everyone really enjoyed it. Before dinner started, I noticed that the host got out some ranch dressing and put it by my salad (thinking it would be needed), about 1/2 through dinner, the dressing made it's way back into the fridge.

This sald is so yummy, I enjoy it every time I make it! I do make a couple of substitutions though. Instead of ham I used crispy bacon and for the dressing I mix up ranch dressing (from the packets) and spread that overtop. I also put in some sliced hard boiled egg too!

This salad is fantastic! I did a few things different than the recipe. I used a very think layer of onion, I doubled the recipe for the dressing, and I cooked a package of bacon(well done)to crumble on top of the salad. I made two bowls and they disappeared within a day in my house.

Made this for a BBQ and came how with an empty bowl--prefer the ham chunks to bacon-more substance.

I made this recipe for a family Easter dinner. It was great! I appreciated that I could make it the night before. I used bacon pieces instead of the ham - love it!
