Strawberry Chiffon Pie

What You Need

2/3

cup boiling water

pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin

Ice cubes

1/2

cup cold water

1-1/2

tsp. grated lime zest

Tbsp. lime juice

cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

strawberries, finely chopped

HONEY MAID Graham Pie Crust (6 oz.)

Make It

STIR boiling water into dry gelatin mix in large bowl at least 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add enough ice cubes to cold water to measure 1 cup. Add to gelatin; stir until ice is completely melted. Stir in lime zest and juice.

ADD whipped topping; stir with wire whisk until well blended. Stir in strawberries. Refrigerate 1 hour or until mixture is thick and will mound. Spoon into crust.

REFRIGERATE at least 4 hours or overnight. Store any leftovers in refrigerator.

Was easy to make and turned out just perfect. used only 1 Tbsp.lime juice though. My husband loved it and said I should make it again and will.

My sister in law made it and it was excellent! It did not set up as well as it should have (it was a little runny), but it was still great!

Gosh, you MUST try this refreshing and delicious pie. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but because I had a ton of strawberries and needed to use them up, I searched through the strawberries recipes. I made this (adding some finely chopped walnuts) and we devoured this pie. Yesterday, I made a double batch, so I could share it with others in the neighborhood. It is so light...not filling or overly sweet. The lime zest and juice really perk up the taste. Try it, try it try it!! Yum.
