OREO & Fudge Ice Cream Cake

OREO & Fudge Ice Cream Cake recipe
Looks hard, but it's not. The secret? Ice cream sandwiches do most of the work. Delicious layers of OREO Cookies and fudge help too.

I made this for the first time last month. I made it for my husband's birthday cake because he loves Oreos. It was very simple to make and tasted great! I figured out the cost per serving and at 12 servings, it came out to about $1 per serving! You can't beat that for a dessert that both tastes and looks great.

This is amazingly good! And really easy!! BUT don't forget to put the foil packet/cover. I did, and it kinda fell over. We still ate and enjoyed it. Will make again.

I HAVE MADE THIS CAKE FOR EVERYONE IN MY FAMILY OVER 30 TIMES...EVERYONE WANTS THIS CAKE FOR THEIR BIRTHDAY SO THEY COME TO ME AND ASK TO MAKE IT. I HAVE DOUBLED THE SIZE OF THE CAKE SEVERAL TIMES BY USING 24 ICE CREAM SANDWICHES AND ALSO USING STRAWBERRY COOL WHIP WITH NEO ICE CREAM SANDWICHES..THIS IS A GREAT TREAT FOR ALL!!!!

My husband requested I make this again for his birthday cake b/c he loves it so much. Luckily I made 2 since it disappeared quickly at his party! Every time he eats it he declares it's "the best cake of any kind EVER!" And it's SO easy to make, even when doubling the recipe. I think I've started a new Birthday tradition...

This was awesome!! I had a little trouble with the foil sticking to the cool whip. I'm thinking next time I will put a layer of wax paper in between. We are not big cookie eaters so I bought the mini oreos and broke em in half. I didnt measure but used about 1/2 of one of those to go cups.

This is a repeat recipe my family looks for at every summer picnic. It's an easy, childfriendly dessert the little ones can help put together and it tastes great.

Holy Smoke! This was delicious. Everyone thought it was an expensive purchased dessert. Very easy to make. You could substitute for sugar-free ingredients, or even use different flavors.
