This is for the person who asked about canned pumpkin. You NEVER use canned pumpkin pie filling when you are going to add spices like cinnamon, clove and ginger because they are already in there. I would rather use plain canned pumpkin so I can control how much spice is in my pie.

I made this pie for Thanksgiving last year and it was a hit!! Not only was it very decicious, it was easy to make and every slice looked great. I used 100% canned pumpkin. I am a BIG pumpkin fan and this is one of my FAVORITE recipes!! Even my brother who is not a big sweets fans loved this recipe.

Quick question for you all that have made it. Do you use 100% canned pumpkin or canned pumpkin pie filling? You can probably tell already, I am not a baker but would love to try and make this!

My family and I loved this recipe. Instead of pecans I used walnuts because my family loves walnuts. It was very good

I made this for our couple's card club. I used Cool Whip Lite and SF/FF pudding. It was quick and I was asked/begged for the recipe.

recipe never came together in refridgerator when cutting this it ws just a pile of mush.
