This was really good! My whole family liked it. It was even better the next day!
This is my family's favorite dish...ever:) It's amazing...we even made this at a homeless shelter and all the workers asked for the recipe..and all the people living at the shelter looooved picky kids even ask me to make it weekly:)
As soon as I saw a picture of this dish I knew I had to make it. My husband and I LOVED it !!!! We made it with hot sausage to give it a little kick. The mozzarella on top added to the yumminess !!! I have shared this recipe with family : )
I make this all the is such a hit!
I make this frequently. It is so easy, so yummy, and makes good leftovers.
I decided to try this recipe because I'm always looking for simple recipes that I think I can convince my boyfriend (who's a very picky eater) to try! I tried this and it's AMAZINGLY simple and AMAZINGLY delicious! I use the HOT sausage so that it gives it just the right amount of kick! I make this ALL THE TIME!! I'm cooking it RIGHT NOW!! YUMMY!! Love it, Love it, Love it!! Thanks for sharing this GREAT recipe!!
Recommended by a relative - big hit! Added to bi-weekly menu rotation - everyone loves it when it comes up! To top it off, we won "best in category" and "Best of Show" at a recent chili cook-off at our church. We were surprised, because we figured a *chili* would win ... but we knew it was a GREAT dish!!!
I used ground beef instead of the sausage and it was wonderful!
My kids don't like peppers or onions. So after I browned the sausage, I added the veggies as per the recipe. I cooked til soft then took them back out with a slotted spoon and pureed them. Then I dumped them back in and finished the recipe as written. I also double the macaroni and added in zucchini with the veggies.
this was such a good soup. I took the casings of my sausage and everyone in the family loved it.
