Of course I changed their recipe. I did not use the dressing. I added a large can of cut green beans, drained, and substituted a large can of crushed tomatoes for the chicken broth. Also added some Italian seasoning and garlic and doubled the elbow macaroni and used 2 cans drained beans. Left off the cheese. YUM!

Husband thought it was very tasty. I tried to precook my pasta slightly before adding to pot. Had alittle to much liquid for my hubbies taste will add raw pasta next time. I also used regular sausage not italian sausage still tasted great.

This meal was excellent! My whole family loved it. The next time I make it I'm going to have to double the recipe because they kept wanting more and more.

Since i am on Weight Watchers i thought this would be a great recipe to try. i did modify a few things. changed the sausage to turkey italian sausage, changed the dressing to fat free italian, changed the diced tomatoes to salt free, changed the macaroni to whole wheat spaghetti(broken in pieces), added a bag of frozen spinach, couple cloves of chopped garlic and it was fabulous. would like to see what these changes do to the nutrition information it would help me better with my weight loss program.

This was the single BEST new recipe I have made in a long time! We loved it. The flavor was wonderful and it was so quick and easy. I used 1/2 sweet and 1/2 hot Italian sausage and substituted 1/2 pkg of Good Seasons Italian dressing as I didn't have any Kraft Zesty. I also forgot about the cheese until we had already eaten but, can't imagine that it would make it any better than it was.

Loved this recipe. Very easy, quick and cheap. Used fresh peppers and onions (1/2 each) instead of frozen and used a 1/2 and 1/2 mix of mozzerella and parmesan cheese. Also threw some italian seasoning and garlic salt and pepper. Will probably use 1/2 and 1/2 hot and sweet sausage next time.
