I am actually the author of this recipe. I use shredded swiss instead of the Italian crumbles and I also crush ritz cracker on top of the dish before I bake it to keep it from being greasy. 1 cup of regular mayo and 1 cup of miracle whip works nicely too :)

This recipe was so quick and easy to make. It was such a hit. Everybody loved it. I can't wait to make it again.

After reading the other reviews I decided to make this using Light mayo. Didn't have a bread bowl to bake it in, so instead, to soak up the grease, I coated the top with seasoned bread crumbs. (wasn't greasy at all) I also had it in the fridge for the day until I baked it. It was delicious!! We plan on using the rest for dinner this evening to top hamburgers!!!!!

Oh my gosh! This is so good! I used Texas Sweet Onions since Vidalias and Walla Wallas are not readily available. Great with Triscuits!

I used the suggestions and baked for about 30 minutes, then put in a bread bowl and baked for about 5-10 minutes longer, It was really good, used some cream cheese, worcheshire, parmesan, added a dash of some red pepper. Will definitely make this again.

I made it for a candle party and EVERYONE LOVED it and asked for the recipe! The only thing I had to do different was add Kraft shredded Pizza cheese instead of the italian 5 cheese crumbles, because I couldnt find it in any of my local stores. But it worked out anyway.

We had trouble with the grease like everyone else so when we made it the second time we did 3/4 C Mayo and one brick of the 1/3 less fat cream cheese and also added 2 tablespoons of worcestershire sauce; it turned out GREAT!

My family enjoyed it and so did my son's church group. I'll probably use the fat free mayo next time and more parmesan cheese.
