My kids and I love this recipe. It's a good mixture of carrots, potatoes, beans and ground beef. The BBQ made it mesh really well. We eat it on top of white rice and cresent rolls on the side. Definately will make again.

I substituted black beans for the baked beans and used Bull's Eye Texas-style BBQ sauce and it turned out delicious. I reheated it the next day for lunch and it was just as good as the night before. My son also loved it.

So very delicious and filling! It's even better the next day as leftovers. Just needs one more ingredient, maybe green pepper, to round out the dish.

I love this because it's like a super simple stew. When done right, the vegetables are tender and the beans and bbq sauce add an excellent taste - and allow you to change the flavor depending on what you like. Delicious!

Very good but even better when you add some garlic.

I wanted something different, so tried this. My husband, who is a very picky eater, ate it, but didn't care for it.

My husband liked it but said it was a little odd because the baked bean's sauce was sweet. He gave it 3.5 stars. I will probably get flavored baked beans next time.

I was totally surprised at how good this tasted. I'm going to make this again and also freeze half. I'm guessing this will freeze well. I skipped the cheese. The would be good served with corn bread.

Pretty good. I used hickory smoke bbq instead of original, kidney beans, and corn instead of carrots. Used less water like I've seen others suggested (about 1 1/4 c. I booked the potatoes separately and used that same water in the recipe.
