I wish I would have read the other reviews first because I would have decreased the water like they suggested. Great flavor though and very filling.

I needed a meal in a hurry but hesitant to make this one as I am not a fan of barbecue sauce. So I tweeked it a little using one can of tomato soup and diced tomatoes instead of barbecue sauce and used canned corn and green beans omitting potatoes. I put a splash of Worcester sauce in it salt and pepper totaste. It came out fantastic and get frequent requests to make this. I will make with a side of corn bread next time.

Good but I made a few changes after reading other reviews here.

We'll certainly make this again - its not fancy but good & filling! I sauteed the vegetables first, only used half the cheese and BBQ, and tossed in 8 oz of spinach before serving for extra nutrition and a splash of color. Oh, and I replaced a 1/4 cup of water with white wine. It was enjoyed by all!

This was so good especially the next day when we ate the left overs. Next time I make this (and I will) I will let it simmer on very low heat for about an hour.

Very sweet - the barbeque sauce was overwhelming. Maybe if there was a different sauce this would be good.

Next time I will cut back on the amount of water, add some pepper when browning the meat and add a little more bbq sauce. Overall a yummy recipe.

My family really liked this, even my toddler. I added frozen peas at the end. Next time I would increase the BBQ sauce.
