Slow-Cooker BBQ Pork Sandwiches

My husband does not like pulled pork sandwiches and he even asked me to make this again!

Very simple slow cooker meal. Tastes great. You can make sliders for when entertaining friends from this recipe.

I've made this several times and always get raves. I serve it with cole slaw. It's wonderful and sooooooo easy.

This is such an easy and great tasting recipe. I doubled all ingredients and I also added cider vinegar to the bbq sauce before adding to the crockpot, it gave a wonderful tang to the dish. My picky 4 year old loved this, it is his new favorite dish.

This recipe was very good but not enough bbq sauce though so I added more to taste.

I changed up this recipe a little to have more control on the amount of moisture in the bbq. I cooked the meat with only enough bbq sauce to cover the top of the roast. After it had finished cooking, I removed the meat from the slow-cooker and poured the juice into a separate container. The meat was then shredded and put back in the slow-cooker with the bbq sauce called for in the recipe. Add only enough juice back into the meat to keep everything nice and moist. This recipe works just as well with beef as with pork.

I LOVE this recipe! I use half the onions and drain the sauce off and shred the pork, add more sauce and mix it up and let it sit for a couple of minutes to warm up. Wonderful! I usually make baked beans and baked french fries to go with our sandwiches.

I added 1/2 cup chicken broth to the slow cooker at the start b/c it seemed like it might come out a little dry. This is definitely a keeper.

Think I should of added more BBQ sauce
