I found this in the Kraft Food and Family magazine in the Kids Can Cook section. My kids did most of the work, (I baked them)! Dinner that night was wonderful and it made delicious leftovers. I served with sesame green beans. We'll use this recipe again and the kids really felt included in dinner plans.

We really enjoyed this recipe! We did jazz up the meatballs a little with minced onion, garlic salt and pepper. We toasted bakery sub buns and sprinkled them with parmesan. Delicious!

Fabulous idea! The meatballs were a little too solid meat for me...I like them more juicy and flavorful. But a great idea...my kids loved the cheese overflowing! :)

I let my 6year lod make this one. I laid out all the things she would need and I instructed her on how to do everything. She loved making dinner for our family. I took pictures and had a really good time with my daughter in the kitchen. Thanks so much, Krissy81

Great recipe, very easy to make and the family loved it! I even loved it and I hardly eat because I am the one who does the cooking. I did add chopped green peppers and white onions and I also seasoned the meat using Season Salt! Then mixed everything together. I also sprinkled the meatballs with parmeasan cheese once they were in the buns for even more flavor.

Fantastic! We used Prego spaghetti sauce and french sandwich rolls instead of hot dog buns. Very tasty!

My family thought the meatballs were a little bland. Next time I would jazz them up with a little garlic, oregano, etc. Everyone liked the melted cheese inside the meatballs though. We used a mixture of colby jack and mozzarella cheese cubes to create some variety.
