I used only apples (don't really like pears), and it turned out GREAT! My husband loved it, and asked why I didn't make two. :) It was easy too--I will definitely make it again.

LOVE this pie, to me it was like buying it from a bakery :)

I used two pears instead than one. It is simple and delicious.

Delicious! I think the cream cheese is the secret. Yum w/vanilla ice cream on top.

My son-in-law, who loves pies with crumb toppings said (and he's picky), "You ought to sell this pie, it's that good!" This will be at the top of my favorite pies to make list for a long, long, time!

Delicious - loved the crumble topping and the cream cheese kept the crust from getting soggy. I served with ice cream instead of Cool Whip. I think you could easily skip the pear and just do apples if you don't have a pear on hand, but I did enjoy the pear flavor.

Very good. I didn't have a pear on hand, so I used 3 apples. The crumbly topping was fabulous. I made a homemade crust with whole wheat flour that wasn't my favorite. Next time I'll make one with white flour. That was the only thing we didn't really like.

I doubled the fruit and made homemade crust. It was very good.

Very easy to make and everyone loved it! I used apples from my own tree. I will certainly make this again and again.
