What You Need

NILLA Wafers, crushed (about 3/4 cup)

1/4

cup packed brown sugar

1/4

cup butter, melted

ready-to-use refrigerated pie crust (1/2 of 14.1-oz. pkg.)

oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

large baking apples, peeled, sliced

large fresh pear, peeled, sliced

1/3

cup granulated sugar

1/4

cup flour

1/2

tsp. ground cinnamon

1-1/4

cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

Enjoy serving MAXWELL HOUSE coffee with this delicious recipe.

Make It

HEAT oven to 375ºF.

MIX wafer crumbs, brown sugar and butter until well blended; set aside.

PLACE pie crust in 9-inch pie plate sprayed with cooking spray. Spread cream cheese carefully onto bottom of crust; sprinkle with half the crumb mixture. Combine fruit in large bowl. Add granulated sugar, flour and cinnamon; toss to coat. Spoon over crumb layer in crust; sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture.

BAKE 35 min. or until fruit is tender and crust is lightly browned, covering loosely with foil after 25 min. if necessary to prevent crust from overbrowning. Cool. Serve topped with COOL WHIP.

I added more of the Nilla mix and used a no-bake cheesecake blend for the cream cheese part. When we went back for seconds, I added a few chocolate chips to the topping. Everyone really liked it.

I have made this a number of times and get nothing but compliments. I like the cream cheese layer so I add more than the recipe calls for. I also add more apples, an extra pear and more crumble. So easy and so good. My three year old loves to help me make it too.

i made this lastnite for a dinner party... it was a huge hit! I blended alittle cinnamon and nutmeg to the cream cheese... make two! You'll want leftovers!!

Loved this recipe! Everyone thought it was delicous. I added more crumb to the pie than the receipe called for and that made a huge difference.

Great recipe!! I made it twice in one week because I got so many compliments at Thanksgiving. My mom who doesn't care for apple desserts said it was wonderful.

I made this for Thanksgiving and it was a hit. The only changes I made was adding 2 tablespoons of nutmeg and 4 tablespoons of cinnamon.
