This is a keeper! Just added it to my childrens recipe boxes. Should have made two! I used Granny Smith apples!

My husband said this was the best pie he ever tasted. I used ginger instead of cinnamon. The cream cheese layer made it extra delicious. Next time I'll have to make 2.

So good the 1st time I am making it to take to church this weekend. I love the apples and pears together. It was so easy as far as pies go.

This pie is absolutely delicious! I'm not much of a baker and my husband isn't much of a dessert eater, but I made this one night as a treat and now he asks for it all the time! I don't even like pears and I LOVE this pie. I recommend using granny smith apples, I think they really make the pie more juicy.

Entered Pie in contest and won first prize. After trying a test pie found I needed more Pears and Apples than recipe called for. This pie is delicious.

Made this while staying at my son and wives home wow is all i can say - one of the best i have ever tasted!! i plan to make it many, many more times and take it to church dinners and other places. It came out perfect, no problems what so ever and very easy to do. loved it!!!!

Instead of making it as a pie, I turned it into a cake, using a vanilla cake batter. It was so moist and delish!!! YUM!

I saw this in the magazine and it looked so good I had to make it....and WOW! Very delicious! My mother-in-law calls it "impressive pie". The only thing is it comes out a little runny, even after letting it sit and cool...I tried adding more flour the second time I made it, and it wasn't much different, but it doesn't matter anyway because it's SO GOOD!

Easy to make, delicious and all who tried had nothing but rave reviews. Will definitely make this one again.
