I made this recipe and forgot to pick up cream cheese (and I don't like it) - I used a container of peach yogurt I had in the fridge instead and it was great!! For all of you who don't like cream cheese - try it! This was a very tasty recipe!

Very easy to make (just always takes longer than I think to chop up fruit!), and always a hit where ever I bring it!

I served with vanilla ice cream instead of whipped topping. Delicious!

This is the best pie I have ever had and simple to make!

Awesome dessert. The only thing I do a bit differently is add one more pear and just a little extra butter for the cookie crumbs. Honestly, I could just snack on the crumb mixture all day!

It was easy and excellent. My boyfriend raved about it at work. Better than Mary Eta's pies!

Okay so I've never actually had anything which mixed apples and pears. It's always been straight on way or the other, never together. And I couldn't imagine what apples and pears would taste like together. I know, I'm so simple minded. But the idea of mixing this was new to me. So I made it and absolutely loved it. My whole family did. I believe I used 3 med. sized apples and 2 pears. The crumb topping was perfect. Very good, I suggest this one to everyone.
