My grandma has made this cake for years and its great! I did a quick version yesterday just substituting a store-bought angel food cake. I'm going to try it again with vanilla pudding and a thawed, chopped bag of frozen strawberries! Yum!

I got rave reviews and was asked to make it again! However, I made a few changes. I used coconut cream pudding, and used pineapple supreme cake mix instead of yellow. It was very moist and yummy!

This was a great cake! Anyone who couldn't taste the pineapple juice in the cake must have dead tastebuds. Everyone in the family loved it!

I made this cake for a family gathering. It was really delicious and we all loved it. I will be making it again.

It wasn't bad--just tasted like a cake mix. It didn't impress anyone in my family and they suggested not making it again.

I loved this cake. I made it according to the recipe the first time and then the second time i made it in my Trifle bowl.... it was sooooo good, and really pretty too.

I did not make this with the nuts. I thought it was delicious and easy. I didn't like that the cake portion of it really tasted like a box cake. Next time I will try to do something about that. Other than that, it was great

This cake was delicous and it would be a great cake for bunko night.... I did change a couple of things and used applesauce in place of oil in cake and I baked the cake in a 13 x 9 pan for about 33 min -I wonder what other flavors of pudding would be good or cakes and I will be making it again - very moist and the house smelled so good!

I made this the day I got your magazine and its as good as it sounds and looks! I always use applesauce instead of oil which worked fine and I used coconut pudding since I had it on hand. We love cakes that are moist and not too sugary sweet, this fit the bill!
