What You Need

boneless beef sirloin steak (1 lb.)

1/2

tsp. freshly ground black pepper

large onion, cut into thin slices

tsp. minced garlic

1/4

cup KRAFT Sun Dried Tomato Vinaigrette Dressing

Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

cups broccoli florets, steamed

Make It

HEAT large nonstick skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium heat. Add steak; sprinkle with pepper. Cook steak 5 to 6 min. on each side or until medium doneness (160ºF). Remove from skillet, reserving drippings in skillet. Place steak on cutting board; cover loosely with foil.

ADD onions and garlic to skillet. Stir in dressing; cover with lid. Cook 5 min.; stir. Cook, uncovered, an additional 4 to 5 min. or until onions are tender, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, cut steak across the grain into thin slices; place on serving platter.

TOP steak with the onion mixture; sprinkle with cheese. Serve with the broccoli.

I love garlic and I love onions. This was fantastic! Even though I'm not a fan of the sun-dried tomato dressing, I still love this recipe.

Considering the amount of garlic in the recipe, it is not as overwhelming a flavor as one would expect. This is a great change of pace from everyday meals & it took no more time than usual dinner.

i've made this several times and my family loves it! the problem i'm having now is finding the sun-dried tomato dressing -- none of my local stores seem to carry it anymore. i'm going to try it with a balsamic vinaigrette next time. let the onions & garlic cook slowly in the dressing to bring out the sweetness in the onions.

This was great - very flavorful - I am doing weight watchers and this is only 6 of their points per serving.
