I made this exactly as written and we did not care for it.
Although, I would try something different...I would only use fresh veggies, and add some onion to it as well. In addition, my suggestion is to NOT begin the cooking process of the meat and veggies w/sauces until way after you started cooking the rice, almost at the end of that process. Also, this recipe needs a little kick to it... not sure what exactly, but it was somewhat bland. Just my opinion, and the opinion of my family too.
Loved it!!! Even my picky son went back for seconds. I marinated the steak in the sauce overnight.
instead of adding dressing i added more soy souce and everyone loved it.
Good. But I had seasoned the beef and let it sit for a day, so when I combined the dressing and the soy sauce it was overly salty. I think next time I will just marinate the meat in the dressing and cut it down to just a couple of tbsp of soy sauce. Threw in a few pinches of red pepper flakes for an added kick.
Good and simple. Literally takes 10 minutes, I love that, and would use some variation of this for a quick stir-fry again.
Soooo good! I love this stir-fry and will definitely make it again. It was also very easy and fast.
I make this alot for my family. Everyone eats it and it is quick, easy and delicious!
I loved the flavor of the dressing and soy sauce. Good combination. Would definitely make this again. Although, the frozen veggies seemed to cook down too much. Would make with fresh next time like others have done.
Made this for my family tonight. I had marinated the meat in the half of the sauce for a few hrs in the fridge so 1/8c of lite soy sauce & dressing as another person suggested. I used stew meat instead of a whole steak - easier to buy already cut meat. Used frozen peppers - worked out good forgot to defrost them ahead of time so ran under hot water until partically defrosted as a result the dish was kinda saucy.... but over rice it was just fine. Also served it with whole wheat tortillas to serve as a wrap for the ingrediants when combined :) Quick, easy, and my family (including my 2 yr old) loved it. Did have to cut the meat up smaller for our kiddo. Thanks Kraft.
