I made it for a party. It was well received. I agree with all previous comments RE: the "runny" caramel. I will use some different sort of topping next time. Maybe mini chocolate chips...who knows!

This was the first time I made cheesecake and it was really easy. I noticed that it took longer than 45 min. to bake. I think it took around an hour. I would recommend this recipe to anyone.

a lot of hard work payed off! i would use low fat cream cheese next time. i was able to freeze, share and enjoy! i recomend for all!

I found the chocolate squares melted like the recipe says was hard to cut later on. The chocolate needs to be softer to make cutting the bars easier. That's the only change I would make next time. I made this for a senior's potluck my Sunday school class sponsors and the ladies were eating it out of the pan as I was cutting it! LOL

This is a great recipe! You can even use oreos instead of vanilla wafers and top withhalloween candy instead of walnuts to give it a more seasonal appeal!
