I made it work work and many people asked for a copy of the recipe.
Very good and very rich. I liked the caramel flavor but the crust got soggy because all the caramel had run to the bottom of the bars. Next time not going to put on caramel until until about 30 to 45 minutes before I serve it.
This was good, but very rich. It looked good when I made it, but after I refrigerated it, all the caramel went to the bottom and soaked up in the crust, so it didn't have a lot of caramel taste.
I like most of you loved this recipie but was not impressed with the way the carmel turned out going to try ice cream carmel next time to see if i get a better out come, after setting in my fridge the carmel went liquid in so places and hard in others.
After being refrigerated, the caramel melted off and became liquid-like. So, I didn't like how it kept in the fridge,...but it tasted great!
Yes - I would make this recipe again but would not use the caramels. Really very hard to cut after all has cooled off. Will try substituting while chocolate morsels, melted, instead. Think about it, can you cut through a hard caramel with a knife, very sharp or warmed up. It does not work.
I agree with previous rating. The flavor was great, but it was very hard to cut the bars neatly as the caramel topping separated from the cheesecake.
This is very good! Took it to a family reunion everyone loved it.Everyone wanted to know where I got the recipe. I will differently make it again.
It tasted great, but did not look pretty like the picture. I had a lot of trouble "spreading" the caramel and it ended up soaking down to the bottom after it was in the fridge.
I had trouble with both the caramel and the chocolate in the topping. it didn't end up looking pretty, but everyone at work said it tasted divine.
