Tested this recipes at Thanksgiving and will be making more for Christmas party/dinner/hosts gifts. So easy and so good. Makes me wonder why store ones are so expensive. The decorating ideas are endless. Thanks to cwolfram for ideas. I purchased ceramic mini-loaf pans on sale at craft store and will use those wrapped in colored saran wrap and bows to give. Each will hold 6-8 truffles.

These were so easy to make and tasted so great! They were just as good as expensive chocolates but much more economical. They will be great for teacher gifts!

I've made several variations of these (dark choc center + dark or milk or white choc cover, with and without an almond in the center) and no matter what I try, the compliments just keep coming!!! They were easy to make (although a little messy rolling the truffles -- washing your hands half way through works well). I'm making a bunch and putting them in pretty tins for Christmas presents (what have I got myself into?) Trust me, you can't mess up this recipe!
