They turned out fantasic, and were super easy to make. I am happy to say they are even better then the Girl Scouts version. LOVE THEM!!
This recipe is VERY easy and absolutley delicious! I highly recommend it.
fingers get a lttle messy while dippin. but result is delicious. Can easily be made soy and dairy free.
I was skeptical about combining Ritz crackers with chocolate but the ratings were so good that i had to see for myself. I made them yesterday for a gift but they wont make it to the intended recipient because we just couldn't help but eat them. I really thought (because of the comments) that this was going to be messy but it only got a little messy having to dip the crackers and then at the end when your scraping what's left of the chocolate to get it out of the pan and onto the crackers.
I made this recipe last year and totally plan on making it again this year. What a great idea! These are so delicious.
I don't know if I did this recipe right or not, I substituted 1 c. of chocolate chips for the Baker's Squares, added the extract & Melted, when it was melted it came out like a frosting constistansy, so I basically frosted them, but had enough for the tube of Ritz crackers. These came deliscious and so easy, looking forward to displaying them on my Christmas Cookie Plate too~
I've been making this recipe since it first appeared in the Food & Family magazine. I use small condiment tongs to dip each cracker and I substitute red/white/green sprinkles (or jimmies as named by some folks)for the crushed candy canes. These are a delicious and a beautiful addition to my Christmas cookie trays. They always get rave reviews! I plan on making lots more (with red/white sprinkles) for Valentine's Day.
I use the small RITZ peanut butter crackers instead! I use Chocolate and also Vanilla Almond bark that I have melted. They are always a hit!
This has everything - - it is easy! - they are delicious! (Both the mint and the PB) - they are beautiful! They are a little messy to make and a little bit time consuming if you are making a lot of them. (I am making 480 of them (240 of each kind) as Christmas gifts).
Very easy and VERY good. I plan on making these for a cookie exchange I'm participating in!
