These potatoes were delicious and the presentation was beautiful - but not worth the effort. Next time I will adjust the recipe to make mashed potatoes.

I made this recipe last year for our Thanksgiving dinner. I followed it exactly, and it was such a HUGE HIT! Everyone LOVED these potatoes! They were a nice change from the typical mashed potatoes. I am definitely making these again for Thanksgiving this year!

I love the idea for the roasted garlic! I'm also a vegetarian so substituted a soybean-based product for the bacon and was pleased with the results.

I served them at my 4TH of July party I made them the day before without the cheese on top, Reheated them with the cheese. Everyone loved them. Ieven resived a request for the recipe. Thanks

Love this recipe! The roasted garlic in the potatoes was a delicious accent to the regular baked potatoes I make. It was easy to make, delicious, and the presentation is impressive. I use shredded cheddar cheese instead of the Velveeta but it was still great and I will definitely make this one again soon.

Liked the recipe, however I wouldn't stuff them back in the skins next time, but the inside was great.
