Layered Meatball Bake

Layered Meatball Bake recipe
Meatballs and peas bake in a casserole topped with savory stuffing and melted Cheddar. It's exactly as crowd-pleasing as it sounds.

The recipe calls for frozen meatballs. I used small "cocktail" size meatballs. However, the 20-25 minutes to heat was not enough time. After heating for 25 minutes the meatball were cold. The more realistic time is 45-50 minutes.

This recipe is so good. It is also very easy to make. My five year old is actually the one who made this, it's that simple. It was so quick to prepare and again, so good. Will definitely make again.

Quick and easy to make. It was liked by parents down to the 1 and a half year old and in between. I think the youngest liked it the most. I used 2 cans of soup though and more peas. Still turned out fine.

The sodium level is TOO HIGH. I made my own bread stuffing (from scratch) and used low sodium chicken broth.

My whole family loved this recipe! We used cream of chicken/cream of mushroom soup for a little extra flavour and it was delicious. I will definately make this again!

Initial serving was quite bland. I used low sodium stuffing & canned peas. It was much better warmed up a few days later with additional cheese. I think I will try adding dry onion soup mix to liven this up!

Not sure if I would make again. Kinda dry, over tasting of stuffing. Maybe add more soup and/or vegetables.

This recipe is pretty tasty and easy to make. I really liked the soup as the "sauce" the meatballs cooked in. We did not care very much for the stovetop stuffing on top. Next time, I might try frozen hashbrowns or potatoes o'brien instead of stuffing.

I like this recipe, and my Husband loves it! I have made this a few times. It is so easy and quick. The peas make a nice addition for a little pop in each bite.

I don't like peas so I left them out.
