Layered Meatball Bake recipe

Meatballs and peas bake in a casserole topped with savory stuffing and melted Cheddar. It's exactly as crowd-pleasing as it sounds.

My husband loved this meal. I did switch the peas to carrots and changed the cheese to a Mexican shredded cheese

Recipe needs tweeking. Perhaps Velveeta slices on top rather than cheddar? or Cheddar Cheese soup instead of mushroom? Definatley worth working on. This will be a agreat recipe!

No one in our household liked this recipe. Realizing that a quick, convenient recipe is not going to taste like gourmet cooking did not help with rating this recipe.

This was really good and very easy to make, though I did make a few changes. Sizing up the meatballs, I used a 9x9 pan to keep the sauce concentrated around the meat. I added 1/4C lowfat sour cream, a drained can of mushrooms and several grinds of pepper to the sauce, and used Italian blend cheese as it was already open in my fridge. Nice on a chilly night.

I loved this recipe. I left out the peas, double the mushroom soup. I put the cheese in the soup and meatball mixture. My husband and kids loved it. Great comfort food.

I did not like how it turned out...I am not a big fan of peas anyway but it felt like all i was eating was peas.

I used the suggested variation of tomatoes and italian style meatballs to make it a bit lighter and my whole family really enjoyed it. Quick and easy and very satisfying.
