This was good warm, and tried it as a cold pasta salad with leftovers. Also good. Not soupy at all like some of the other comments said. Followed the recipe, so not sure of the difference.
The sauce on this did not thicken at all and was more like tomato broth. I added some cream but it did not help. It was almost like shrimp soup with pasta. The flavors were fine, it was just a disappointment. Will probably not make this again.
I made this about 2 weeks ago for my fiance SOOO good! I did change a few things based on other recommendations I saw. I used Kraft Italian style dressing as I couldnt find the kind they recommend either. I also used diced tomatoes with garlic & oregeno, I used raw shrimp and threw it in with the tomato. I also added portabella mushrooms & some thin sliced chicken seeing as my fiance eats like a cow! So good-its been requested for dinner again tonight!
I have made this dish for company on two occasions....and everyone just loved it...I would urge anyone who likes all these main ingredients, to try this recipe...It's great....and easy to make.
Delicious and easy. My husband was very impressed. I added mushroom to the recipe and lightly sauteed raw shrimp. I will definitely make this recipe again.
This recipe was good. A bit soupy, not my favorite but Id make it again. I couldnt find the dressing so I used KRAFT Light House Italian Dressing with some chopped roasted red peppers. I used raw shrimp to avoid overcooked shirmp as others have suggested (adding the same time as recipe calls for just cooking it a bit longer).
My family loves this soup. Even had my parents over to eat, and my Dad who hates trying new foods, couldn't get enough of it. Love it!
My family is picky when it comes to meatless meals. Everyone loved it!!!
My husband and I enjoyed this dish with the Italian Tossed Salad recipe, but I did substitute chicken for the shrimp. The basil gave it a really good flavor.
Good texture and flavor. Could have used a little heat. (we like spicy food though) Also, we used pre-cooked shrimp, so they were a little overcooked when it was completely done. We'll add them later the next time we cook it. Overall though, pretty tasty.
