Easy Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo recipe

Rich Alfredo may seem complicated to make, but it's a snap when you know this shortcut. A creamy cheese sauce tops chicken, fettuccine and fresh broccoli in 20 minutes flat.

i made this and with the suggestions of others i added salt, pepper, and garlic powder. i didn't add enough salt b/c it tasted blah. but i served it with some garlic french bread from Albertsons and it was delicious. my family liked it as did my boyfriend (even though he reheated it in the microwave later that nite). I also reheated the leftovers 3 days later and it was still yummy! will make it again but will add more salt.

A good recipe, fairly quick to make. I read the other reviews about the sauce being thin, so I only added 1 cup of milk. (Cooking the fresh chicken pieces had already produced a lot of extra moisture.) It took about 10 minutes of boiling and stirring to finally get the cream cheese fully incorporated and it developed a good thick consistency. Next time I may add some bits of spinach, too.

My picky eater husband rated this "very good"! I did leave out the broccoli, which he won't touch, and served green beans on the side. Other than that, the only variation was to use Greek salad dressing with feta cheese, since I didn't have Italian dressing. This recipe is quick, easy and delicious and will stay on my "frequent flyer list"!

My kids ask for this (no beg for this!)all the time. I altered it a little. I used wheat pasta and low-fat cream cheese and no one knew any better. It's a great way to get my kids to eat broccoli! I have also marinated the chicken in the zesty Italian dressing prior to cooking it, but it changes the taste a little, makes it more tangy, which I'm not too crazy about, but my kids like.

The alfredo didn't quite meet my expectations. It was quite runny and I could taste the cream cheese a bit more than I would have liked. That said, my husband liked it, which is huge. He even liked the broccoli, which he normally doesn't.
